The Iceland Aurora Expedition exceeded all my expectations. Our guide knew exactly where to take us for the most spectacular Northern Lights viewing, and the accommodations were perfect. We saw the aurora on four different nights! The ice cave experience was absolutely magical, and I appreciated the small group size which made everything more personal. A life-changing journey that I'll never forget.
As a photography enthusiast, this tour was perfect. Our guide provided excellent tips for capturing the Northern Lights, and the itinerary was thoughtfully designed to showcase Iceland's diverse landscapes. The 4x4 vehicle allowed us to reach places other tours couldn't access. The local food experiences were a highlight as well - especially the home-cooked meal with the family in the East Fjords. Highly recommended!
This was my first winter trip to Iceland and it was incredible. The Northern Lights were breathtaking - we were fortunate to see them on three separate occasions. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about Iceland's culture and geology. The only minor issue was one accommodation that wasn't quite as nice as the others, but the location for aurora viewing made up for it. Pack plenty of layers as suggested - the wind can be intense!
